At the point that someone has achieved five years on the job, what is truly the point of forcing them back into college to complete another major program that is "related" to the field? Is this not something that core training, continued training, on the job training, etc. can fill in the gaps for? Seems like we're willing to sacrifice a five year tenured caseworker over some schooling for literally no reason....

I should clarify that my previous comment is in regard to a person with a bachelor's degree already; not an associate's holder needing a bachelor's degree.
