A PNTWC shall ensure that no child resides at the camp for more than twelve consecutive months unless the camp has completed a full evaluation that determines the child is not ready for reunification with the child's family or guardian. I am not comfortable at all that any children should spend more than a week or two in a camp consecutively...I know of the lapses in foster care but this has the potential to revisit a history that resembles the worst of eugenics...these visits should be short term only 2 weeks or less per year period.
